乐坛上，所有团体从组团第一天开始就会面临一个“经典问题”:是不是要解散了?“欧洲第一男声团”BLUE当然也不例外。3张冠军专辑、2座全英音乐奖及4000万张单曲的销售成绩，证明了2001年出道的
BLUE甩开偶像团体的包袱，着重歌唱与合声的实力，誓言达成“英国第一男声团”。1300个日子过去，他们成功了，甚至成为欧洲最强的男生团体，无人能出其右!然而，半年前就有歌迷紧张的询问:“BLUE要发精选?他们要解散了吗?”
BLUE正式宣布11月26日发行首张新歌加精选《BEST
OF
BLUE》，里头的新歌歌名竟叫做
“Curtain
Falls”(爱的闭幕式)。媒体望文生义，歌迷紧张到流泪大喊:BLUE，不要解散呀!四个团员决定透过唱片公司正式对解散问题做一个完整公告。BLUE也将在2005年三月英国巡演结束后各自尝试新演艺领域，唐肯要进军电视圈，黎朝导演路更迈进，安东寻找有趣的演戏剧本、打算拍戏，最有商业头脑的赛门则专心经营手中的VS团体和艺人经纪事业,所以，2005年你可能看不到BLUE.但以“唐肯”、“黎”、“安东尼”和“赛门”之名的作品还是持续闪耀演艺圈!
黎率先说道:“BLUE不会解散!只是想要休息一年，放一年假期。有些团体也是暂时分开、然后再一起回到这里。天命真女Destiny’s
Child就是最好的例子。以单飞艺人来说，她们也有很好的成绩。接下来对我们四个人来说是个很好的机会，去发现我们还可以做些什么不一样的东西--这不过是BLUE第一章的结束，第二章还等着我们去写呢!”被问到“接招合唱团解散时，全世界的歌迷都无法接受

Blue仅存在三年就宣告解散，但无可否认，它是英国新世纪最成功的R&B偶像实力派男声团体。Blue由Duncan James（唐肯）、Antony Costa（安东尼）、Lee Ryan（黎）和Simon Webbe（赛门）四个大男孩组成。四人中，只有Simon一人拥有黑人血统；Lee的年龄最小，最能把歌中的高音推向高潮；唐肯的嗓音最富有磁性；而安东尼的低音则让人回味无穷。

Duncan生于1979年4月7日，13岁前与母亲住在DorSset。在搬迁到Sidmouth后，他进入了戏剧学院学习。在戏剧课获得A，他觉得自己的声音有潜力成为歌手。他也在一些初具规模的乐队中试着演唱，从而更坚定了信心。他说“那种让牙齿碰撞的感觉真是太美妙了。”更幸运的是，当Duncan遇到了Antony后，他离开了那些水平一般的乐队。
Antony生于1981年6月23日的Middlesex。在他加入Blue之前就有着令人印象深刻的履历。曾经在、中担任角色，并且在BBC的节目中领衔。尽管他的声音比较平实，在遇到Duncan之前他也没有将演唱作为今生追逐的职业理想。
